On Tuesday, May 11th 2010, the Magic House will be bringing 2 science programs to our school.
Waterworks:
Explore the properties of water when you dive into this interactive investigation. Learn about water purification, surface tension, water pressure, the impact of water on the environment and more.
The Great Outdoors:
In this hands-on science program, the impact of human activity on the environment is emphasized as children learn about recycling, water purification, oil spill clean-up and environmental science.
We need EIGHT volunteers to help with this, if you can help please email Ms. Russo (click on her name to get her email address) or call the office at 290-4391.
Box Tops
Please go register on the Box Tops website, we'll get even more box tops. They have also set up an online shopping portal, with many big merchants (Gap, Lands End, Nordstrom, Pottery Barn). Once you register, if you click through to the portal, our school will get between 1-6% back. Like the Schnucks fundraiser, this is at no cost to you. There are monthly drawings for bonus box tops, although we haven't won one of these yet.
Bring in your box tops!
